Our client which is an Investment bank, based in Johannesburg is seeking a Project Administrator
Responsibilities:
Effectively update and maintain project work documentation for reference and audit purposes
· Produce project progress reports
· Summarise all project’s progress into an consolidated PMO progress report
· Consolidate various reports into packs as required
· Administer the relevant document storage system
Organize and arrange the logistical requirements of meetings in an effective and efficient manner
· Set up meetings on behalf of the project and programme managers, including sending out nvites and managing responses
· Minute taking and distribution thereof
· Book venues for meeting and workshops, and cater accordingly
Review & monitor compliance against RMB’s rules, codes or practice, business ethics, internal guidelines, principles and legislation
· Monitor the relevant project tracking system to track and report on the adherence to the SDLC process and procedures
· Review identified project documentation to track and report on quality standards and adherence to procedures
· Support internal project audits and help with audit exception reporting, checklists, etc
Actively contribute to the effective delivery of project tasks according to allocated duties and project plan and escalate identified risks
· Project logging within the project and with impacted areas
· Execute small project tasks on behalf of project and programme managers
· Manage and track sign off processes (Legal contracts/SOW’s, BRS, FRS, etc)
· Manage small work requests or smaller internal projects
· Stand in as back up chair for identified project and PMO meetings
Requirements::
- 5 years Project Administration experience
- 5 years Banking experience in being a project team member implementing Business Technology solutions
- Project Management certification (e.g. CAPM, SCRUM Master)
- Fully comfortable with Agile delivery methodology and ceremonies (Scrum or SAFe)
- Ability to manage a number of dependencies outside their project
